Please bear with us - Although we are re-opening from 2nd December, we are awaiting further information and guidance and will be able to give you more information when we know which tier we will fall under.

Due to the Government update on 31.10.20 we are once again having to shut from 5th November until 2nd December. This means that we have also had to postpone all animal experience bookings.

 

We appreciate that you were looking forward to to your animal experience(s) which unfortunately has been unable to take place  due to COVID-19. 

We will of course be re-scheduling these experiences once the situation improves, and advice from relevant authorities and our vets say that it is safe to do so.

Please note:​

Animal Experiences falling in the March closure:

  • All animal experiences that were booked (a date was booked) from 23.03.20 - 17.07.20 can be re-booked, and have an extra 4 months added to compensate for the time we were closed.

  • All vouchers that were valid during this time, but not booked are valid for an extra 4 months to cover the closure period. For example, if you bought an experience on 12.02.20 it is now valid until 12.06.21

Animal Experiences falling in the November closure:

  • All animal experiences that were booked (a date was booked) from 05.11.20 - 02.12.20 can be re-booked, and have an extra month added to compensate for the time we were closed.

  • All vouchers that were valid during this time, but not booked are valid for an extra month to cover the closure period. For example, if you bought an experience on 15.10.20 it is now valid until 15.11.21.

If your vouchers were valid through both closure periods, but not booked in, we are extending the validity by 5 months. For example, if you bought an experience on 16.01.20 and have not yet booked the experience in, you now have until 16.16.21 to book the experience.

  • We will be in touch when restrictions have begun to lift, and when we have made sure our own internal policies allow for a period of adjustment for animals and staff.

  • Any experience including primates can be swapped for an alternative 'like-for-like' experience.

  • We are currently dealing with a lot of queries and appreciate your patience should you have any individual questions.

Guests with Virgin vouchers:

For those of you that purchased vouchers through Virgin, you must contact Virgin directly to discuss expiry dates as we are unable to deal with any Virgin queries, and it is Virgin that holds your money. This includes experiences that are both confirmed as booked, and those that are not.

We are working hard here to facilitate everybody's needs in a safe way, in line with current government guidance. Please keep checking this page for updates, and subscribe to our mailing list, which you can do in the footer of each web page.

PLEASE NOTE - Our team is playing catch up! Therefore there may be a considerably longer wait for responses than the desired 48hrs.
