Our Meet the Lemurs experience offers you the chance to get up close to these highly sociable primates , making your day at the HCC a truly special one!
After meeting your keeper and a quick briefing, you will head over to our lemur enclosure where you will spend time with our lemurs and can ask any burning questions you might have!
It is truly an experience to remember whether for you or a gift for a loved one! Not only that, you’re helping us continue our work!

Meet the Lemurs Experience

Your experience...

Will last around half an hour and includes:

Free admission into the zoo for the participant. (Only purchase general entry for spectators).

The chance to feed our lemurs.

The opportunity to learn about these amazing animals and ask our keepers any questions you may have.

Please note that only one gift voucher can be redeemed per transaction.

Experiences are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and must be booked and completed before expiry.

The encounter is available for adults and children over the age of 5 years old; however children between the ages of 5-10 years old must be accompanied by a spectating parent or guardian paying normal zoo admission (1 adult per 1 child). Any other guests wishing to watch the experience will need to pay normal centre admission prices.

A maximum of four people may take part in the experience. All participants must have a valid experience.

Masks must be worn on this experience, including those that are usually exempt. If you are usually exempt, please contact us before hand.

Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.

Whilst every effort is made to accommodate those with a disability or learning difficulty, due to practicality and health and safety this cannot always be achieved; please contact us for advice before purchasing.

We cannot guarantee which lemurs you will be meeting on your experience (Either our ring tailed lemurs or red fronted lemurs). This is based upon keeper discretion regarding animal behaviour and welfare.
