We are open! Please read the following based on the latest government advice. We know that it is a worrying time for people, but the majority of the centre is outside in fresh air, and here is what we are doing: ✅ We have hand sanitiser available at the centre entrance before you come in, and then at various locations around the zoo. ✅ Our toilets are fully stocked with soap. ✅ You can wash your hands at either of our toilet blocks and our hand wash station. ✅ Our staff have added extra measures to their cleaning regimes including door handles, gates, taps, extra toilet and hard surface cleans. ✅ Our staff have been briefed on the virus, how it spreads and how we will put in place any contingency measures that need to be implemented. ✅ We will continue to monitor the situation and update accordingly by taking advice from the government, our vets and colleagues in other zoos. If you are feeling unwell, please do not visit and follow the current government advice, which can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/…/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-res…🚫All public talks, encounters and animal experiences are suspended until further notice 🚫The Rainforest Tearooms will not be serving food or drink until further notice. We are being as safe as we possibly can, and with the cooperation of our guests we hope that this will continue!
