Our 'Big Bug Encounter' offers you the chance to get close to a whole range of invertebrates from the animal kingdom, making your day at the HCC truly memorable!
This encounter is designed for participants aged 5 - 14 years.

Experiences are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and must be booked and completed before expiry.

The encounter is available for adults and children over the age of 5 years old; however children between the ages of 5-14 years old must be accompanied by a spectating parent or guardian paying normal zoo admission (1 adult per 1 child). Any other guests wishing to watch the experience will need to pay normal centre admission prices.

A maximum of four children may take part in the experience.
