On 14th December we welcomed a 2 year old male Ocelot named Kourou from Zoo d' Amiens in France!
He is settling in well to life in Kent and is proving to be a very cheeky ocelot!
“Kourou is proving to be a very confident young male ocelot, and hasn't shown any signs of being phased by this move. He's already been exploring his habitat and is becomig familiar with his new keepers.”
Into the future...
We are thrilled to welcome this species to the HCC and we have plans to bring a mate in for Kourou within the next 18 months - so watch this space!
