Hemsley Wild+ Membership – Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Eligibility

1.1 The Wild+ Membership is available to individuals aged 5 years and over.
1.2 Certain experiences have specific age, height, or health requirements; members must comply with these requirements.
1.3 Proof of age may be required for verification.

2. Membership Term

2.1 Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
2.2 Membership is non-transferable except for Joint or Family memberships, which are limited to named members at the same address.

3. Benefits

3.1 Members receive:

• 1 included animal experience per month (subject to availability and age suitability)

• Unlimited zoo admission for named members

• 15% discount on food, drink, and retail purchases

• 10% discount on additional experiences

• Priority booking for special events

• Two guest passes per membership year

• Monthly conservation updates

3.2 Membership benefits cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Animal Experiences

4.1 Experiences are subject to availability, and bookings must be made in advance.
4.2 Members must adhere to the rules and guidance of zoo staff during experiences.
4.3 Some experiences may be cancelled or rescheduled due to animal welfare, safety, or operational requirements; in such cases, an alternative experience or rescheduling option will be offered.
4.4 Members must comply with all health, safety, and conduct requirements; failure to do so may result in withdrawal of the experience without refund.

5. Pricing & Payment

5.1 Membership fees are non-refundable once purchased, except as required under UK consumer protection law.
5.2 Prices are inclusive of VAT.
5.3 Additional optional donations or add-on experiences are charged separately.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

6.1 Members may cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no benefits have been used (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013).
6.2 After the 14-day period, membership fees are non-refundable.
6.3 The zoo reserves the right to suspend or cancel membership if members breach these terms, behave unreasonably, or engage in misconduct.

7. Guest Passes

7.1 Guest passes are valid for a single admission and cannot be exchanged for cash or extended.
7.2 Guest passes must be used during the membership year.

8. Data Protection

8.1 Member personal information will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the zoo’s Privacy Policy.
8.2 Information will be used for membership administration, marketing (where consented), and providing benefits.

9. Liability

9.1 The Hemsley Conservation Centre accepts no liability for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in experiences, except where required by law.
9.2 Members are responsible for the safety of any children in their care.

10. Changes to Membership

10.1 The zoo reserves the right to amend benefits, pricing, or terms at any time.
10.2 Members will be notified of any material changes in advance.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These terms are governed by UK law.
11.2 Any disputes arising from membership will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
