Sloth Experience
Our Rainforest VIP experience offers you the chance to have a tour of our Fragile Forests, get up close to and have the chance of feeding some of our residents in Fragile Forests, including our prehensile tailed porcupines, monkeys, armadillos and sloths - making your day at the HCC a truly special one!

Your experience...
Will last around half an hour and includes:

Free admission into the zoo for the participant.

The chance to feed some of our Fragile Forests animals. This experience depends on the animals choosing to take part.

The opportunity to learn about these amazing animals and ask our keepers any questions you may have.

Experiences are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and must be booked and completed before expiry.

The encounter is available for adults and children over the age of 10 years old. Any other guests wishing to watch the experience will need to pay normal centre admission prices.

Booking Protection for Animal Experiences
​We understand that plans can sometimes change. If you think there’s a chance you may need to reschedule your animal experience, we strongly recommend adding our Booking Protection at the time of purchase.

All bookings are strictly non-refundable. However, with Booking Protection, you have the flexibility to reschedule your experience if needed within the permitted timeframe.
This approach helps us keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. By offering a simple booking protection option, we can reduce the need for additional administrative staff. In turn, this allows us to avoid increasing the overall cost of our experiences, so we can continue to offer great value while maintaining high-quality care for our animals and guests.
Please note: without Booking Protection, bookings are non-transferable and cannot be amended.
Regrettably certain guests will be unable to take part including people with relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant women and immunocompromised individuals.
